Stainless-steel Parkers are often considered "Flighter" models. Our Parker 45 Flighter Set features the fountain pen, ballpoint and pencil. We find the ballpoint and pencil to be nearly perfect. The fountain pen has a little scuff-scratch on the cap and a little waviness to the plastic section. Our fountain pen includes a working original squeeze converter. The ballpoint has a new black refill. The pencil comes with spare .9mm leads and a partial eraser. As Parker 45 Flighter Set s were considered top of the model line, we think the nib is the 14k gold version. It is marked "M" for medium, and we find it writes more like a slightly dry fine-medium.
