Sometimes basic is best. This is a later model Parker 51 with a steel nib. It is not marked a 51 Special. The aerometric filler's cage reads simply Parker 51. It also says to squeeze the filling system 4 times to fill the pen. Working really well, is the original "pli-glass" ink sac. We have not found any cracks in the hood or barrel of the pen. Its polished steel cap show wear from use and the later model black jewel topper. You will write a nice fine line with the steel nib. Some might even classify it more as fine-medium. You'll find only some very light feedback as you write. 13cm capped.
