Description from Nathaniel
The Parker Duofold Big Red was always a bit of a misnomer. The pens are really bright orange, but they were called red. An absolute must for any vintage pen collector, the Parker Duofold Big Red was the most popular pen of the 1920s. It was quite the status symbol that you had arrived. Parker created this pen in 1928 from a material called permanite. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. Its only flaws are that the knurling on the end caps is a little worn. The Christmas tree inkfeed is not a full "Lucky Curve." Otherwise, there is minimal, if any, wear and some odd little pinch marks on the cap bands. Its nib wiggled a little when we first tested this pen, so we set it a little deeper than normal, after these photos were taken. You'll write a dry, extra-fine line with its 14k gold nib. Measures 13.9cm capped.
