Description from Nathaniel
Top quality orange hard rubber pens are difficult to find, which is why we are excited by this Parker Duofold Jr. OHR. Our vintage pen is fully restored with a new ink sac. No cracks, deep scratches or chocolate hazing. Possibly a touch of brassing. We love its crisp milling on the end caps. The imprint is very legible but a touch shallow. The lip of the cap is a bit short, too. People used to remove budding hairline cracks by grinding off the first 1/16th to 1/8th inch of the lip. That might be what happened here. The orange hard rubber is a shade darker where the cap covers the threads and barrel when closed. The filling button appears to be steel. One of the cooler features is that the cap band is raised/thick compared to more common cap bands that are flush with the side of the cap. A Christmas tree inkfeed decorates the underside of the 14k gold nib. You will write a medium line with moderate feedback. Our Parker Duofold Jr. OHR measures 11.6cm capped.
