Description from Nathaniel
For collectors, off-beat production curiosities are the spice of life. The Parker Vacumatic Long Major is one such curiosity. These lovely vintage pens are the width of a Parker Vacumatic Major (junior) and the length of the Parker Vacumatic Maxima (senior). Our Vacumatic Long Major is especially nice because it still has some of the filling instructions printed on the vac-filler unit. These wear off from use. As such, this pen didn't see much use. Ambering effects the celluloid a little, but it is still very clear. We received this pen from a serious collector who had the diaphragm replaced already. Yet, given the state of the celluloid and printed filling unit, we aren't sure if someone would use the pen, instead of preserving it as a museum piece. Plus, burgundy is one of the rarest colors for the Vacumatic line of pens. No cracks, no brassing, minimal wear. 13.4cm capped.
