Created in the quarter before America was drawn into World War II with the attack on Pearl Harbor, this Parker Vacumatic Maxima the ultimate fountain pen in its day. Some how, it has managed to remain in excellent condition for the past 84 years! We received it fully restored with a working diaphragm. It also appears that a part of the cap band was replated. There are no cracks or deep scratches. It has a clean 1941 imprint. Its 14k gold nib is missing most of its platinum plating. You will write a reasonably smooth fine line with this Parker Vacumatic Maxima. Ambering effects the barrel, but you can still see through it clearly. 13.6cm capped.
