Description from Nathaniel
Here's a tasty treat for your weekend: a Waterman 56. Made of orange hard rubber with a ripple design, it looks spectacular! Aside from some light traces of brassing, this pen looks almost brand new, even though it is 100 years old. Our vintage pen is fully restored with a new ink sac. What makes it even more stunning is its orange ripple inkfeed! Notice the nib is marked "manifold"? That means it is a firm nib, without any flex. We find the 14k gold nib writes a nice medium line with a little feedback. Some might find the nib is closer to the fine side of the medium spectrum. The Waterman 56 is one of the larger versions of this classic vintage Waterman pen. The largest models were 58s. 14.2cm capped.
