Description from Nathaniel

Pastel purse pens are the more common name for the Esterbrook PJ. These pens from the nifty '50s were marketed to women. We restored this one with a new ink sac. Unfortunately, this softer plastic used by Esterbrook did not hold up as well as many other plastics from that era. Note that the lip of the cap below the band is missing. These typically formed a lot of hairline cracks, and we think that a previous restorer just shaved the remains of the lip off. The cap and barrel have significant wear. However, this color is little more difficult to find. Our Esterbrook PJ comes with a steel 2668 nib. You will write a surprisingly smooth extra-fine line. 11.1cm capped.
