Description from Nathaniel

Containing our excitement to post this stunning Montblanc 1BB was impossible! Made between 1910 and 1924, this beautiful vintage pen is in about as good a shape as possible. No cracks. No scars. Just light wear from use. Please notice that the original company name of "Simplo" is a little faded from the imprint. Twist the tail end to advance and retract the 14k gold nib of this delightful safety filler. Everything moves smoothly, as it should, but we don't know if the seals are good enough to hold ink. This is as much a museum piece as anything. The main attraction is the sterling silver snake pocket clip. It is removable for easy polishing. Our Montblanc 1BB nib writes a buttery smooth line with nice variation. There are hints of flex, but you don't really need it. Small. 9.9cm capped.
