Welcome to the dawn of the nearly disposable fountain pen: the Sheaffer Student Pen. This early model looks like more famous Sheaffer TouchDown and Snorkel pens. However, it is a basic early cartridge pen with a steel nib. Our vintage pen shows some wear from use but no cracks or deep scars--just surface wear. A nice, clean imprint that has the classic Sheaffer wording, which is what makes us think that this is an earlier Sheaffer Student Pen. It comes with an old, empty cartridge inside it. You will find the steel nib writes a fairly smooth extra-fine line. 13.7cm capped.
